The SMIC Multi-Project Wafer (MPW) program provides customers a cost-effective prototyping service by enabling multiple customers and projects to share common masks and engineering wafers.

MPW schedule information, seat reservation, service request and tape-out can be done conveniently in the SMIC Now system. For more information, please contact one of our regional offices .For LF Avezzano Fab in Europe, reservation are done by contacting regional LF office

Currently, we provide shuttle services on a regular basis. Product ranges include logic, mixed-signal/RF CMOS, EEPROM/Flash, CIS, BCD, ect. MPW service is available on up to 6 shuttles per month. SMIC’s MPW shuttle service provides rapid turnaround time and greater flexibility for our customers.

To enable process and product design checks and verification so as to avoid delays, SMIC employs standard monitors (SRAM and EEPROM) in our MPW service.
